In the area of selling expenses, the increase in personnel expenses mainly results from increased wages and salaries due to pandemic-related influences in the previous year, the improved business activities as well as the collective agreement increases in the current financial year. Furthermore, variable payments and restructuring expenses contributed to the increase.
Cost of material primarily includes IT costs, which had a full impact this year as a result of a contract concluded with the external service provider Wipro during the previous year. Furthermore, the costs of personnel recruitment as well as energy, travel, transport and maintenance costs have increased. Moreover, impairments on property, plant and equipment have increased.
